Support Mason Gonzales' Eagle Scout Project
Donation protected
Hi my name is Mason Gonzales, I am a Life Scout in Troop 985.
I have been in scouting since the 2nd grade and am currently striving to become an Eagle scout. My Eagle project is constructing a fence at the Professor Duncan McCosker outlook in Mission Trails Regional Park. The fence will ensure that hikers, photographers and other people visiting the park stay on the trail so that they don't get hurt. As well as protecting people, the fence would ensure that no one tramples on or disturbs the animals and habitats that are in that area. In order to build the lodge pole fence around the outlook, I will need 5 lodge poll posts and 8 lodge poll rails. The cost for these materials is $530 dollars. The Mission Trails Park Regional Foundation bought these materials in bulk, cheaper than I could find locally. So the cost of the materials will be donated to the foundation. After factoring in the cost of food and water for the volunteers, I will be donating any excess funds back to the Mission Trails Regional Foundation.
I appreciate donations of any size that will help me reach my goal. Thank you friends and family!
