Support Mason, Amanda & Her Family

Hi! My name is Tyler, but that isn't relevant here. I am raising money to help my friend (and former colleague) Amanda, who has the most darling son, Mason. THEY NEED OUR SUPPORT!

Mason, he is the cutest little bean! I remember him being sick as a baby from Amanda and my time together at Dillard's in Auburn, AL. He asked me (in the most polite, respectable way I've ever heard a child speak) to wipe his nose... when he was just in a stroller! Who could say no to him? After all, he was sneezing, and his little nose was running...

Amanda is so strong, has heart, confidence and nothing but love for her family. Over the last few days, she has received some (NOT SO FRIENDLY) news about Mason's health.

Sweet little Mason has been very sick. Yesterday (3/15/22), the doctors of Children's Hospital found lesions on his spine and skull. Today, the doctors also learned that he has these lesions on his legs, shoulders and other spots of his body. Today (3/16/22), doctors performed a bone biopsy for Mason. They narrowed down his illness to lymphoma, leukemia or LCH. All require a fight for his life and treatment consisting of very serious Chemo.

Amanda, her husband Chris and their other two children, are at Children's Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Hopefully, they will get to go home soon. They have at least a week of waiting to hear from the results of today's (3/16/22) bone biopsy. Once they receive results, Mason and his family will wind up back at the hospital for treatment or at St. Jude in Memphis, TN, for specialized care.

I am asking, no, I AM IMPLORING, that you take a moment to PAUSE, think, FEEL, and empathize with what this family is going through. Right now, their child is up against the FIGHT FOR HIS LIFE. Imagine your best friend's children, your sister, your brother, your grandson or granddaughter - fighting to live, hardly even a child yet. Little Mason needs our help. He needs his family to be close.

This family is missing work and needs to cover the bills. Their electric, water, mortgage, and high gas prices to commute back and forth from the hospital to their home are eating them alive. Due to their time spent away from work for their son, they are being hit with tough times.

SKIP today's Starbucks and HELP a child who needs your support. A lunch out - NO - make it leftovers, and let's help remove (even for a moment) some of the burdens this family is facing.
