Hi my name is Mary Alvey & I am raising money so I can afford to pay off my mom's car loan for her 2017 Nissan Versa at 3Rivers. My mom passed away on Thursday April 10th, 2025 & after she passed, she wanted me to have her car & with me only working part-time at Kohl's, I am sure that I can't afford her monthly car loan payments, as of right now, the monthly car payments are $175.00/month at 3Rivers & the balance that my mom still owes on the car loan is $6,213.98. Here's the thing, I have a 2005 Ford Focus that hopefully will be driving ok when I go to pick it up sometime when I can & if not, then I will definitely need a car to drive & the only way that I can afford to take over my mom's car payments is if I get a personal loan to pay off the car loan at 3Rivers & then make payments on the personal loan. I really don't want to go this route, but if there is no choice, then I will do what I have to do, otherwise I will have to give this car back to 3Rivers & I don't think they want the car back, so please can anyone out there help me & my family out because it has been hard on me & my sister losing our mom. My mom passed away on Thursday April 10th from having Stage 4 Vulvar Cancer & my mom found out last April that she had vulvar cancer, my mom was a fighter & she made it through 7 chemo treatments & the cancer spread to her lymph nodes, her lungs, & it was all over her body. My mom's cause of death was Metastatic Vulvar Cancer & Secondary Inguinal Mass. Update on this situation, a family member helped pay off my mom's car loan at 3Rivers & so now I own my mom's car, which is a good thing. The full coverage car insurance that I have on my mom's car is less than $85.00/month, which is not bad. Me & my friend Chad went to Dyer's Memorials today in Richmond by Earthlam & he showed me the kind of headstone that he wanted to help me & my sister get for our mom, hopefully we will be able to get the headstone soon for our mom. If anyone can help us in anyway, it would be greatly appreciated.
