This is Marvetta and her lovely children. They tragically lost their home and everything in it this past Saturday in the Slate apartment fire. When I noticed after a few days that she didn’t have a GoFundme to help with the up coming financial battle I reached out and asked if i could set one up for her, she was extremely grateful and said yes. Here is a little bit about her and her family….

We relocated to The Slate neighborhood in 2022 from Lebanon, my sister and I have become active community members. Our commitment to service is shown through involvement in organizations such as the Lupus Foundation, Heart and Kidney Foundations, and the West Nashville Sports League (WNSL).

I have four children. My oldest recently graduated from the The University of Tennessee at Martin (UT Martin). My son is now attending Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). The two younger children attend a local middle school.

Driven to serve others, my family finds joy in helping those around us. Thanks for your support.
