Help Us Support Marty Waldron During a Critical Transition

Marty Waldron has called Routt County home for over 50 years. As the founder of Alpine Taxi, former head of the Carpenter’s Union, and a longtime advocate for local workers and families, he has touched countless lives through his work and service. Marty is deeply loved and respected in this community—and now, he needs our help.

Over the past year, our family has watched Marty’s mental and physical health decline significantly. We are taking the necessary medical and legal steps to ensure he gets the care he needs, but as many know, this is an overwhelming and complex process.

Recently, Marty’s longtime housing at Mad Creek was unexpectedly terminated, adding urgency and strain to an already difficult situation. We are now in the middle of clearing out his home, finding new housing, and coordinating live-in care to keep him safe and supported.

Funds raised will go toward:

Securing safe, pet-friendly housing

Covering healthcare and caregiving support

Moving costs, cleanup, and essential supplies

Bridging the gap as we transition him into long-term stability
