Hello,

My name is Martha, and I am asking for help for my 70-year-old mother and myself.

For the past 14 months, my mother and I have been homeless and living inside our car. We have endured extreme heat in the summer and freezing cold in the winter, with no safe place to rest or call home. This situation has been very hard, especially for my elderly mother.

We have tried everything we can to improve our situation, but without stable housing it has been impossible to move forward. Living in a car has affected our health, safety, and emotional well-being. No mother should have to spend her later years this way.

We are raising funds to help us:

    •    Take the first steps toward stable, permanent housing
