Dental Emergency and Mutual Aid Fund

[UPDATE: MARSHA  HAD  TO  HAVE  ONE  OF  HER  TEETH  PULLED  LAST WEEK  DUE  TO  THE  INFECTION  NOT  RESPONDING  TO  ANTIBIOTICS. SHE  WILL  BE  BACK  TO  THE  DENTIST  THIS  WEEK  FOR  A  ROOT  CANAL AND  OTHER  DENTAL WORK. Please help share this fundraiser. We are trying to get another big push of donations before she returns to the dentist on Friday 10.4.20]

THIS IS AN URGENT MEDICAL AND HOUSING SUPPORT FUND

So many of us have been blessed to have Marsha and her two boys, Broc (15) and Isaiah (8) in our lives. Marsha is a very kindhearted and selfless person, who is always giving back to the community, including giving free labor moderating a large group for sick and disabled queers in the Bay Area. As a community it is absolutely necessary to take care of the ones we love and Marsha has been a constant example of that.

Right now she is in need of immediate emergency dental care.
She must pay 2,800 dollars to have an emergency dental  procedure and that is after what insurance covers. She is currently in pain and dealing with an infection so lets get her these funds as soon as possible. 

Marsha is a disabled single mother with 2 incredible kids, one of whom is also disabled. After years of housing instability and having to live in inadequate conditions due to gentrification and anti-blackness, Marsha has found a good home but disability income does not cover all the family expenses. 

After the initial dental bills are paid this fund will exist to help Marsha and her family stay housed, manage ongoing medical expenses for herself and Isaiah, and generally meet whatever needs their family has. In addition, the boys school supplies are becoming increasingly costly due to Covid and online schooling.  But first lets get her to the dentist right away for some care and relief.
