Help Marlon’s medical fund and deportation to Jamaica

My name is Mikayla. I am raising money for my father, Marlon, who is being deported back to Jamaica after 35 years of being in America and is suffering with stage 3 copd and diabetes.

My father will be forced to leave his mother, who is in a nursing home, all of his family, and myself. My dad is not well. He is struggling with a lot of health issues and has been in and out of the hospital over 50 times within the last year. I am devastated he is being sent back to Jamaica. He has been here since he was 16 years old.

How did this happen? During Covid my dad had a court date, neither my dad or his lawyer were notified of the court date. Last year my dad was at a gas station and when he didn’t come back out his friend went in to get him. ICE had him in handcuffs inside. By 7 pm that night my dad was in immigration jail in BUFFALO. I haven’t seen my father in over a year and yesterday they made the decision to send him back to Jamaica. We have exhausted all his savings paying his lawyer. We did not prevail. We are asking for help for him to transition to Jamaica and to get medical help, as it’s not covered there.
