Our family has been processing a great deal of information over the past few weeks. We've experienced a wide range of emotions, including joy, sadness, uncertainty, discovery, nostalgia, and, above all, hope. Hope that the decisions we've made, and continue to make, regarding Marley's well-being are the most informed choices available to us.
We've consulted several hospitals and doctors and have been given the same answer over and over again. With the CAR-T therapy not working, our next greatest hope is a bone marrow transplant. I have been blessed with the honor of having the highest bone marrow match in the country and will be undergoing surgery to donate to my baby girl.
We've been given the tentative dates of starting chemotherapy and radiation on August 25th and the bone marrow transplant happening on September 2nd. Given the short amount of time we have until then, we'll be spending as much time as we can with family and friends in between appointments.
Holly and I have put together a registry on Amazon geared mostly towards the creative side of Marvelous Marley Jane to keep her engaged while we're inpatient at MUSC. If you would like to get her something off the registry, the link is below. She loves her food, slime, arts and crafts, Legos, anime, card games, board games, and video games. Thanks again, everyone, for always checking on Marley and keeping her in your thoughts and prayers. Please keep praying hard for our little badass.
