Mark has always been the heart of our home and community. For the past 34 years, he’s poured his energy and talent into his work as a master jeweler, bringing joy and creativity to everyone he meets. His giving spirit and sense of humor make him the kind of person you want to be around—always ready with a joke, a helping hand, or a word of encouragement. For the past seven adventurous years together, I’ve seen firsthand how Mark puts others first, working tirelessly from morning to night and never asking for help, even when he needs it most.

Recently, Mark was struck by a severe kidney infection that nearly took his life. He’s now facing daily hospital treatments for the next five weeks, and the road to recovery is uncertain. With Mark unable to work, we’re struggling to cover our everyday expenses and the lost income that keeps our household afloat. The hardest part is knowing that without support, we could lose our home—but even more important is Mark’s chance to heal fully and return to the life he loves.
