Help Mark Fight Bladder Cancer and Afford Life-Saving Surgery
Hello, my name is Mark Carrillo, and I’m 59 years old, soon to be 60. I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but today I find myself in the toughest fight of my life — a battle with bladder cancer.
A few months ago, I began having trouble urinating and noticed blood in my urine. Concerned, I went to the doctor, where they performed tests, a CT scan, and a biopsy. The results were devastating: a cancerous mass was found in my bladder, and I was told I need surgery as soon as possible to remove it.
While I’m grateful to have insurance, it sadly doesn’t cover the full cost of the procedure. My out-of-pocket cost — which includes the surgeon and surgical center fees — comes out to $7,300, a sum I simply don’t have.
I’m reaching out to ask for your help. Your support — no matter how small — will help me afford this life-saving surgery and give me a second chance at life. This surgery is not just about removing the cancer; it’s about giving me a future, a chance to continue living life to the fullest.
Please consider donating or sharing this page. Every little bit helps, and your kindness means the world to me. From the bottom of my heart — thank you.
With gratitude,
Mark Carrillo
