Mario's Fight Against Cancer

Hello Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers - this fundraiser is in support of the Olivares family and here is their story.

Mario and Angelina are proud parents of six beautiful children - the oldest being 22 and youngest being 8.

As of 2019, Mario knew something did not feel right and was encourage to go to the doctors. After some testing, the doctors found bladder cancer and started treatment immediately. Since June 2023, we learned that the cancer became more aggressive and is now systemic at stage four.

Since the beginning, his children, wife and family has banded together to support Mario's fight against cancer. With his health requiring more assistance, his wife, Angelina (Angie), has become his caretaker and is not able to work in order to help 24/7 to all of Mario's needs.

Beyond treatment, appointments, the other obstacles life has handed them, they could use our help. Bills have fallen behind, costs are rising, and time feels short. Mario has goals that secure the future for his wife and children and even through the daily pains of cancer, he is close to achieving the dream of moving into their new house. The journey ahead includes expenses like regular household expenses, family needs, medicine, and with the continuing loss of income, every contribution helps lift a bit of the weight off their shoulders.
