Support Marion Family After Devastating Fire

On 4/30/25, my mother- and father-in-law's world was turned upside down when a devastating fire tore through a part of their apartment building in Marion, NY. They had waited so long and prayed hard to get into this place — just a few months ago, it finally felt like home.

Now, that home is gone.

Though thankfully they made it out safely, the damage was severe. Their apartment space is uninhabitable and will take months to be repaired. In the meantime, they’ve had to move back in with family, further away from their church community, grandchildren, and the life they were just starting to build.

On top of this, my father-in-law suffers from serious health issues, and they were forced to leave nearly everything behind.

What’s especially difficult is that, until they can move back in, they have nowhere to store donated items like furniture, clothing, or kitchenware. So the best way to support them right now is financially — to help them save for the day they can return and rebuild their home from scratch.
