Dear Friends,

I want to invite you, once again, to support the annual gathering that my mom organizes in the neighborhood where she lives in Chile.

We began organizing this gathering over 13 years ago with the primary goal of providing children with a safe and loving space. This purpose remains central to the event and is an essential part of what we do.

As lives unfold and circumstances change, it is essential to address and redirect the needs of our communities.

We have noticed a shift in our community, with the arrival of people from other places, many of whom are fleeing violence and extreme poverty. We need to help integrate these new families into our community. This event provides an opportunity for children and families to connect, find a sense of belonging, and feel welcome.

This welcoming space brings together children, elders, and people of all ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. It aims to build connections and foster relationships to combat social isolation and loneliness. Increasing understanding among community members encourages open communication and respect, creating an environment where everyone can support one another.

Last year, we had over 300 people attend this event; this year, we hope to increase that number even further. We aim to offer the community a day filled with activities for both children and adults, including games, trampolines, portable swimming pools, circus performances, food, and much more.

The gathering will happen on December 6th, and no one will be turned away.

This reunion serves as a doorway for the community to engage in various projects organized by my mom throughout the year, including mobile clinics, recycling workshops, sustainability workshops, elder care programs, and security initiatives, among others.

I humbly ask for your support today, so that together we can bring love to those who need it.
