My name is Krissa. I’m starting this fund to help my mom and step siblings after the sudden loss of Maria’s husband and the kids’ father, Bryan. My mom, Maria, is awaiting a medically necessary surgery before she is able to return to work and will take 6-8 weeks to recover once her operation has been completed. Bryan, a loving husband, father, friend to many, and sole provider for the family tragically and suddenly passed after contracting pneumonia and rapidly progressing into sepsis and organ failure Monday, December 9th. Bryan leaves behind his wife and children who were completely financially dependent on him and are heartbroken and lost. Maria and Bryan were working on planning out financials and details for the surgery Maria needs to be able to return to the workforce before his passing. Unfortunately, with Bryan’s sudden and unexpected death, they are left in a less than ideal financial position and will need support and help with covering rent and bills until Maria can return to work. After losing a husband and father, this family cannot afford to lose their home or be unable to afford food and necessities due to financial hardship.
