My name is Maria, and I’m a mother doing everything I can to put food on the table for my children each month. Life hasn’t been easy, but I’ve always tried to face every challenge with a smile, holding on to strength and hope.
Recently, my story was featured in a short documentary film called Dreams on Hold. It’s not easy to open up about my struggles, but I chose to share because I know there are many other families here in Orange County facing similar hardships.
With the support of Bridge of Hope—a non-profit club founded by local high school students—we have launched a project that not only provides immediate help to families like mine, but also works toward building a stronger, more supportive community for the future. This isn’t just about me and my kids—it’s about showing that when compassion, community, and action come together, real change is possible.
If you can, please watch the film and consider making a donation. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to helping more families find stability, hope, and a brighter future. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for caring and for standing with us.
