Maria is creating this fundraiser for her dad after a heartbreaking and sudden change in their family’s life. On Thursday, August 20, Maria’s dad got detained by ICE at seven in the morning while on his way to work. Anything to help get him back home with us. I really hate how we live in this world like this. He left my little Sister and his granddaughters, who love him a lot and my mom who cries every day but got to stay strong for us . His granddaughters are always asking about their grandpa and where he is at and what time he will be home . It breaks my heart. It makes me emotional Because he came here to give us a better life. He was a provider for my little sister and my mom. Now that he's gone. It's not the same. I wish I could go back Tell him not to go to work that day. But they say everything happens tor a reason but it's hard to stay strong, knowing he is locked up in a cell where we haven't been able to see if he's OK or get any information about him. I always ask myself, like, why did this have to happen? Why did this have to happen to him He was was going to work to provide for his family and now I'm trying everything to see what we can do to not get deported to the other side because he has nobody he is no criminal some people my not understand until it happens to them. It’s so hard trying to stay strong for my siblings and my mom. I never thought I would have to experience this it’s the most Awful feeling ever I don’t  Even wish this on nobody. This all happened out of nowhere and now my mom is struggling to pay the bills and everything that’s coming up this month seeing if we are able to do it. Anything you may be able to donate is fine it doesn’t matter if it 5,10 ,20 dollars anything is fine we just want to be able to reach the goal even if don’t reach all of it  it’s okay . My mom trying to support my dad all she can . Even though It’s very hard when my dad’s boss doesn’t wanna pay him the hours he’s worked. But anyone who is donating and has already donated we are thankful maybe god give you more and I am happy there’s people still out there that are willing to help because at the end of the day we are all human and nobody deserves that. please share we extremely grateful for anything.
