Hello. My name is Maria G. Solano-Uriarte. I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2023. The primary cancer was colon cancer with metastasis to the lung and stage 0 breast cancer as well. I had four major surgeries that year, and last year I had to go through chemotherapy and radiation.

I've had lots of side effects from the chemo and radiation, and unfortunately, I had to stop working this year since May of 2025. In the same month, a new nodule was found on my right lung, and I recently had surgery in which the doctor removed a part of my lung to remove the nodule and get a biopsy done. Still waiting for the biopsy results. We accept God's will.

I feel very sad I haven't been able to help my family financially all of these months. The debts are piling up, and because my disability insurance hasn't paid me yet all of these months, we are getting behind financially. I thought about doing this GoFundMe. I was prideful and thought people were going to think less of us for doing this, but the reality is we need help. We all need each other. Thank you!
