My name is Wednesday and I'm helping my friend Marci raise money so she can move into a new home. Marci is a wonderful transgender woman who's been struggling from accute mental health issues for several years and recently returned to Washington after losing her housing and family support. She's a beloved friend and surrogate sister to many of us here and it's critical for her to find housing in a place where she's loved and supported and can get the mental health services she needs.

Marci has a house lined up in November where she'll have caring roommates and be close to some of her dearest friends. She just needs a little help to cover the initial housing expenses.

We estimate that she'll need around $5,500 to cover her move-in costs, some furniture and a few months' rent while she gets reestablished and finds work to sustain herself moving forward, and costs associated with moving the rest of her stored belongings up from California.

Marci and I and all our friends deeply appreciate every bit of help you can give, even if it's just to share this with your own friends and family.
