My name is Manar Ward. I am a father facing an unexpected financial collapse while trying to protect my son’s education.
Until last year, I was running a contracting and business development company. I was financially harmed by contractors I trusted, which led to ongoing legal cases that have lasted over a year. As a result, my income completely stopped, and my debts have exceeded $600,000 CAD.
My son, Marcel Ward, is a second-year law student at the University of Brighton in the UK. He is also a gifted musician and has been in several TVS show around the world and they called him mini Mozart, and he’s a hardworking student with a clear goal: to become a lawyer and serve justice.
Marcel is not only a dedicated law student, but also a gifted pianist.
A short sample of his piano performance can be viewed here:
Due to my current situation, I am unable to cover Marcel’s tuition fees, housing, and basic living costs. His education is now at serious risk — not because of his effort or merit, but because of circumstances beyond his control.
This campaign is not about saving a business or paying off debts. It is about ensuring that one financial crisis does not destroy a young man’s future.
All funds raised will be used strictly for Marcel’s education and essential living expenses. I am committed to transparency and will share updates as the funds are used.
Any support — whether through a donation or sharing this campaign — will help keep Marcel in university and protect his future.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
