On November 25, 2024, Manuel Cucuta - a client of the Wisconsin Innocence Project - was released from prison after serving 27 years. Manuel was charged and eventually sentenced to two counts of life without parole for a crime that occurred when he was only 15 years old. In recognition of the injustices in the case, a judge vacated the original conviction and sentence.

Manuel was released from prison with almost nothing - no income or savings account. Manuel is now 44 years old. Please consider donating to help him as he rebuilds his life.
