Hello. Thanks for taking the time to read our plea for your help. Due to possible funding cuts, rising food costs, and increased need, Manton Senior Center is currently facing a financial hardship. We are hoping that with the help of our community during this trying time, we will be able to continue to provide our local senior citizen population with healthy meals at both our congregate site and in their own homes.

Last year, we served just over 10,000 meals. This year, we have already served over 7,000 meals, making our average approximately 1,000 meals per month! I expect this number to continue to rise as more people seek alternatives to grocery shopping and preparing meals mainly due to inflation. Lastly, please take into account that the majority of the people that we are striving to continue to serve are on limited incomes and are facing food insecurities.
