Support The Health & Education of Communities in the Amazon

Hi everyone,

This fall, I’ll be serving as a Public Health Program Coordinator with Manna Project International in the indigenous Kichwa community of Shandia, Ecuador. I’ll be working alongside local leaders to create and support programs in health, education, and livelihoods—initiatives designed to break the cycle of poverty in a sustainable, community-led way.

What excites me most is the opportunity to work directly with children and families. Many of the programs focus on kids—teaching them about nutrition, mental health, and wellness, while also giving them tools and hope for brighter futures. These are children who deserve the same chance to grow, learn, and dream as any other child in the world.
