Support Manhasset Aces: Autism Awareness Month
Donation protected
Hello!
We are Leijun Chou (Founder) and Nathaniel Zheng (Co-Director), students at the Manhasset Secondary School raising funds for the Manhasset Adaptive Tennis Program ("Manhasset Aces")!
Manhasset Aces has been teaching tennis to Manhasset children with special needs since 2023. This unique program not only offers lessons in the sport but also creates an environment for meaningful engagement and enjoyment. The program is completely free for enrolled children except for a modest insurance fee that is charged at the start of the season.
Since there are not many free programs such as this, Manhasset Aces has enjoyed high demand from families of children with special needs since its inception.
This year, for April's Autism Awareness Month, we are organizing this fundraiser to raise money that will be 100% directed in support of Manhasset Aces. The funds will enable the program to acquire new equipment and supplies, as well as provide grants to those families who may need help with paying the seasonal insurance fee, to support this program's continuity and success.
Further, in support of this fundraiser, Project Ripples (projectripples.net) has agreed to a $ for $ match (up to $250) to support this worthy goal!
Please support this worthy initiative! Supporting autism awareness in the Manhasset community fosters inclusion, promotes understanding, and ensures individuals with autism receive the necessary support, ultimately creating a more cohesive and equitable society!
Sincerely,
Leijun and Nate
