On the morning of October 19th, 2024, my mother and father-in-law's house caught on fire while they were sleeping. It was an electrical fire, and because of a faulty smoke detector, they weren't aware of the fire until the last minute. They woke up just in time to grab their dog and get out of the house before it collapsed from the fire. The entire house burned down to the ground and the only personal items they have now are the clothes that they were wearing when they left. All of their clothes, food, and furniture were lost to the fire. Mandy and I would like to reach out to all of our friends and family for her parents and ask for anything that anyone can spare to donate to help them get back on their feet and recover from this disaster.
