Support Mandy's Fight Against Glioblastoma

Mandy (Amanda) Snedeker; a loving wife to Cherael Snedeker, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and a wonderful friend.

On December 5, 2024, Mandy underwent sudden and dramatic brain surgery for a totally unpredictable brain tumor (Glioblastoma). Upon removal and biopsy, she was given a terminal diagnosis. Mandy was told she would have only one more glorious year with us.

Mandy is strong, young, spunky and a wise “old soul”. We want to give her what she profoundly deserves, the opportunity to truly live every single day as if it were to be her last.

Mandy has spent so much of her life giving us love, wisdom and dedicated attention. We will never be able to repay her for the gift she was to all of our lives, but we want to make sure her last months are spent filling her soul with as much love as possible.

In the deepest sense, Cherael and Mandy deserve each other and their love serves as an example for the rest of us. We are asking for support in providing them the opportunity to enjoy the rest of their time together as best friends and spouses, not having to worry about bills/rent/ etc.

I’d also love for Mandy to have her “bucket list trip” to Japan, along with her adoring wife.

This news has been so sudden and devastating. We as a family were caught in the delusion that something like this wouldn't happen to us… I don’t think anyone could ever be prepared for this, least of all our family. We are filled with gratitude in the sense that we have this year and any time at all. To create beautiful memories, which will provide comfort for the future, when all we will have are memories with Mandy.

Reaching out for help like this is not an easy decision to make, but if you know/knew Mandy, you would understand. She is a calming presence amidst chaos, a positive energy during hardship and we just love her so incredibly much. Any help is so extremely appreciated. If nothing else, allow this moment to be a reminder, to love your family and to never take them for granted.
