Support Mama B and Her Family in Their Fight for Justice and Stability
Hello, my name is Mama B, and two years ago, my life was turned upside down when I became a victim of racial discrimination and police violence. The aftermath of this trauma not only caused physical injury but also led to the loss of my job and a constant struggle to regain stability and security for myself and my family.
Seeking justice for the wrongs we’ve faced has only made our situation worse. The visibility of our fight has led to increased retaliation against our family, making it even more difficult to find peace or safety. Living as a Black family in a predominantly white community has exposed us to continuous racial discrimination, both within our neighborhood and the education system my children navigate daily. These repeated incidents have made it incredibly difficult for us to thrive, let alone feel secure.
In recent months, we’ve fallen behind on rent and are now facing the threat of eviction. The mounting pressure has only added to the emotional and financial toll of everything we’ve endured. Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to catch a break, and we are asking for your help in this crucial time.
Your support can provide us with the chance to regain our footing, find safety, and rebuild our lives. We are seeking financial assistance to cover rent, medical expenses, and the costs of navigating this difficult period.
This is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a moment for equity and solidarity. Your contribution will help us overcome this hardship and give us the peace of mind we desperately need. Any amount you can donate will make a meaningful difference in our journey toward stability and justice.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
