My Name Is Mal — The Lord’s Helper
I’m not a nonprofit. I’m not backed by a big team. I’m just one man, walking by faith, doing what I can to help people caught in the grip of addiction especially in Kensington.
Through my platform, I raise awareness about drug addiction by sharing real stories from the streets. I talk to people who’ve been forgotten, judged, and labeled as failures by society. I let them know they matter. I make sure they feel seen, heard, and loved not ignored.
When someone is ready for a fresh start, I help them get into detox or rehab. I provide food, clothes, hygiene kits, and other resources out of my own pocket. I even opened a P.O. Box so people from around the country can send donations that help these folks through every season, from summer heat to winter cold.
I also help families search for their missing loved ones sons, daughters, mothers, fathers who are lost in addiction. I’ve had many families reach out to me, desperate for help. And I do everything I can to bring answers, comfort, and hope.
This mission takes patience, time, energy and money. It’s dangerous, mentally exhausting, and I receive no payment. I don’t work for any rehab or program. I just get a "thank you," and sometimes not even that. I’ve been shadow banned, demonetized, blacklisted even banned because I talk about real issues like addiction.
But I keep going. Because people’s lives matter. Because God gave me this mission. And because I know I’m not alone I have you.
If you believe in what I’m doing, I’m asking for your help.
Every dollar helps me reach more people, provide more resources, and keep this mission alive. Prayer helps. Sharing helps. Support in any form helps.
Teamwork makes the dream work. Together, we are powerful.
Thank you to everyone who has helped so far, and to those who will.
May God bless you for having a good heart.
