On March 12, 2025, our beloved father and husband Abraham Malobe, was murdered and taken away from us in the most heartbreaking way. No one has been held accountable, we’re still in shock, and our hearts are broken. He was everything to us, a loving husband, a dedicated father, a leader, a friend, and the backbone of our family. He wasn’t just present in our lives but he was involved in every moment. He practiced sports with us, helped with schoolwork, made sure we always had family dinners, and spent weekends taking us out to share food and love with the community. He taught us what it means to show up for people, to give without expecting anything in return, and to dream big together. One of those dreams was Malobe Cafe. We worked on over the years and built it as a family with our own hands, is his cafe, our cafe which will if the loan on property not paided will be taken away from us. That property means way more than just a building or family business, we grew up with it from babies and put so much work into it physically more than anyone can imagine. We watched our dad struggle so much with it for it to just be taken away. This building was a home to us, it held memories, tears and more than words could explain. It was his vision for a space where people could gather, heal, and grow. Now we want to finish what we started, for him.

This GoFundMe is to help us carry on his dream and support our family through this devastating time. We’re also hoping to restore the car he was shot in. It’s painful, but it holds so many memories and pieces of him. It’s part of our story, and we want to keep it close. He leaves behind his wife and four young kids, Isabella, Isaac, Abraham, and our youngest sibling. Anything you can give, even just a prayer or a share, means more than we can say.
