Omid Malikzai has been fighting blood cancer and has remained in a coma and on medical life support for the last five months. He has three children of 7,5,2 ages. He was the sole breadwinner of the family as his wife does not speak English and is a stay at -home mom taking care of her kids.

Omid had worked with the U.S. military in Jalalabad, Afghanistan for eight years. In recognition of his service, he was granted a special immigrant Visa (SIV). As a result. He immigrated to the U.S. in 2019.

We would like to request any assistance you can possibly spare to help Omid’s family. Funds will be utilized to assist his family with basic needs including rent, utility bills and food.

As a community member and close family friend I, Hanifullah Khawry have organized this fundraiser. The direct beneficiary of this fund is Malikzai’s wife Dewa Malikzai and his three children and your donations will directly go to her account.
