My name is Malarie Garvin. I'm a single mom of 5, 1 of which is very autistic. The transition from a mentally disabled child to a mentally disabled adult is most taxing. With things going on now, it's going slower. I do work, and I clean on the weekends. My old truck broke down, so I bought a car off Facebook, and it came with more problems than I realized. Unaware of the issues, I drove it for a month, and then the tire blew out. When I took it in, the pictures you see are what we found. The control arms in the rear were being held together by moving straps. Very dangerous to drive like that. The shop quoted me a very high price that I could not afford, so I had a different mechanic fix it so I can keep working to save the money. I was off work for a week getting it fixed. Upon returning to work, I suffered a rotator cuff injury and was forced to sit down until healed. The car is not completely fixed. I need to replace the control arms and shocks in the rear. As it is now, the tires do not sit properly and lean to one side to the point where it's shredding the back tires, and I'm getting new used tires every 2 weeks. Can't drive it in the rain; it makes the car slide all over. I intended to get it completely fixed before the snow, but being off with the shoulder injury has set me back even more. We are needing assistance to get our only car fixed and catch up on some bills. I would like to go back to being the reliable employee I've been before the car trouble and injury
