This project is dedicated to the memory of Malachi, a 22-year-old young man who carried a deep love for this community, its youth, and Jesus Christ. He believed young people needed a place of belonging, where faith, friendship, and purpose could grow. Though his life was tragically cut short, his legacy lives on through this vision. The skate park stands as a testament to his heart for seeing lives changed and restored.
We're raising funds to build the M.E.F.P. Memorial Skate Park and Resource Center right in the heart of San Carlos Park. This won't just be concrete and ramps, it will be a place where kids, teens, and young adults can build friendships, find a sense of belonging, and grow in character.
Communities across the country have seen that well-designed skate parks do more than provide recreation; they strengthen neighborhoods. Studies show that when young people have a positive, designated space to gather, juvenile nuisance complaints and vandalism in surrounding areas can drop significantly. Recreation becomes prevention, and connected youth lead to stronger families and a thriving community.
The land for this project is already under a Purchase Agreement, and now we need the community's help to bring it to life. Every donation, big or small, moves us one step closer to giving the next generation a place to belong.
Will you partner with us to build something that blesses generations to come?
Donate today and help us turn this vision into reality for our community!
With gratitude,
Route 7 Community Outreach
