Makanalani Kids is a Nonprofit Kids Camp on the north shore of Kauai which for the last 14 years has acted on the mission of investing into our community and local youth through life changing camps provided free of charge for visiting groups. All so these youth can feel safe and protected and experience God’s love for them through the beauty of His creation in a place that is intentionally curated for them.

The effects of Hurricane Lowell took a large toll on Makanalani’s 130-acre farm. With hundreds of trees damaged and down, including several large albizia trees, our main road has become completely inaccessible and is going to take months of hard work and high costs to restore access to the Kids House once again for guests. Thankfully we have reached a point where staff ATV’s can access most areas, but it will be a long process to recover the farm and make it safe enough to welcome in guests again. We have sadly had to cancel our bookings for September/October 2026, and it is looking more and more like we will have to cancel at minimum until the start of 2027. That being said, our goal is to get the Kids House available again for guests as soon as possible!

This fundraiser is to support the mission of Makanalani Kids and speed up the process of clean up. Providing necessary funding in order to safely clear the large fallen trees in order to make our property safe and accessible for the kids to return to. Every little bit makes a difference in providing a safe space for our youth once again. Thank you so much for your support!
