Support Majani's Vegan Village in South Chicago

Majani is a Chicago-based, sustainable eatery and catering company dedicated to serving soulful vegan and vegetarian dishes crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. After eight years in business and with over 30 years of culinary expertise, Majani is opening a second location known as their vegan village. This concept will enable locals to access multiple vegan eating options from up to four restaurants, along with outdoor space, parking, and more. Whether you're a health-conscious diner or simply an enthusiast of great food, Majani invites you to savor their creative, community-inspired meals that celebrate both wellness and sustainability.

Majani's mission is to create a walkable community, having access to all the goods and services a healthy community needs to thrive. It intends to leverage their success to do more to show the community that eating healthy isn't bland or boring. Majani is here to provide a warm, comfortable space where everyone is treated with respect.

Use of Funds Raised

A majority of the funding will be used to complete the purchase of our new location at 3110 E 79th Street, which we are transforming into our vegan village. The remaining amount will be used for architectural drawing, permits, environmental reports, and demolition of the interior. The new Majani will create opportunities for the next generation of vegan chefs. Majani will support, mentor, and franchise the new venues inside the vegan village. Majani will create four new independent restaurant featuring local artisanal and hand crafted products, such as a vegan pizza shop and juice bar. There is outdoor space that will be transformed into both parking and a gathering area where we can feature live music.
