Hello, my name is Rocio Mallari, and I started this GoFundMe with a heart full of hope and a vision rooted in love, compassion, and community. I’m raising funds to open a Special Needs Center that will serve as a safe haven, resource hub, and second home for special needs families.
As someone who has seen firsthand the challenges families face—whether it’s navigating therapies, finding inclusive activities, or simply needing a break—I knew something had to be done. Too many parents feel isolated, overwhelmed, and under-supported. Too many children are left without the care, connection, or community they deserve. I want to change that.
What This Center Will Provide:
• Therapeutic Services: Speech and physical therapy in a warm, welcoming environment.
• Respite Care: For parents and caregivers who need just a moment to breathe.
• Support Groups: Safe spaces where families can share, connect, and uplift one another.
• Inclusive Activities: Art, music, sensory play, and social programs tailored to every ability.
• Resource Navigation: Help with IEPs, services, and support systems to guide families every step of the way.
This center isn’t just a building. It’s a dream to create a place where every person—regardless of ability—is celebrated, supported, and seen. But I can’t do it alone.
I’m reaching out to you—friends, family, and kind strangers—because this mission takes a village. Every dollar you give will go toward:
• Renting and renovating a safe, accessible space
• Hiring qualified and compassionate staff
• Purchasing adaptive equipment and therapy materials
• Licensing and insurance fees
• Creating a scholarship fund for families in financial need
Whether you can give $1 or $10, every contribution brings us closer to opening the doors of this life-changing center. And even if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign can make a huge difference.
Let’s build something beautiful together—for the kids, for the families, for the future.
With gratitude and hope,
Rocio Mallari
