Support Maggie's Children After Tragedy

We lost a beloved member of our local community and our Northbar family, Magnolia “Maggie” Wintjen, tragically taken in a skateboarding accident. Her passing was sudden and has left a profound void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.

Maggie had been with us for over seven years, we both had known her since high school. Many have come to know Maggie as the carefree wildflower she was—someone with a deep love for gardening, a special talent for designing flower pots, and a genuine passion for bringing beauty to every space she touched.

A single mother of three, Maggie worked tirelessly to provide for her children while doing what she loved most—gardening. She treated every property she worked on as if they were her own, putting great care into every garden bed and seasonal display.
