On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, our lives were changed forever. Maddox lost his biggest fan, his dad, Sean. Our family and those closest to us lost someone that we all truly believed to be invincible.

Sean had the biggest heart, and an incredible amount of passion for life. His greatest joy was his son. Whatever this life brought on, Maddox was always his source of happiness and strength. At only 12 years old, Maddox has a mirrored this strength, but this will forever be a pain he carries with him. Anyone that knows Maddox knows what a great kid he is, and anyone that knew Sean knew how much he loved his son. Maddox and Sean shared a love for ice hockey, and it was obvious to anyone who met them on and off the ice, how passionate they were.

With this unexpected tragedy, we will be faced with the financial challenges of funeral costs and services for Sean, as well as support for Maddox for his sports and general needs. We are asking for help with just one of the many aspects surrounding this tragedy. We will undoubtedly receive and welcome support in many other ways, and we are eternally grateful for all of it.

We don't know what the future holds, but we will work to pick up the pieces and keep Sean in our hearts and memories. Please keep Maddox and our family in your thoughts.
