My sweet friend Maddi delivered her twins, Rosie and Kimmie, at just 31 weeks through an emergency C-section. Both babies are in the NICU receiving the care they need — Kimmie had heart surgery shortly after birth, and Rosie isn’t expected to come home until February as she continues to grow stronger.

Maddi is recovering from major surgery while navigating the overwhelming reality of having two premature babies in the NICU. She never asks for help, so I’m asking for her. She has always been the one to show up for everyone else, and now she deserves that same support.

With her boyfriend on unpaid paternity leave, and the costs of food, gas, and staying close to the girls for such a long period of time, the financial stress is heavy.

I want to help take as much stress off their shoulders as possible so Maddi can stay focused on what matters most — her own healing, Kimmie’s recovery, and Rosie’s continued progress and strength.
