Empowering Taveuni: Bringing Books to Communities

Hi! My name is Macy Smith. I am a seventeen-year-old who recently went on a humanitarian trip. My group and I traveled to Taveuni, Fiji, and spent an amazing two weeks serving others, but ultimately bettering ourselves. When we visited this small community, I was astounded to see them with little to no access to great literature. Determined to bring to this community the same joy I felt when reading books, I decided to take action. With these donations, we can purchase and ship books to this small community and expand their knowledge and love for reading.

And so, we are a dedicated non-profit organization committed to enriching the educational landscape of a small island off the coast of Taveuni, Fiji. Our mission is to provide books, essential materials, and training to maintain their cleanliness and usability for years to come through donations.

(As I explained above), The local school lacks a proper library, which limits access to crucial resources for students and the community. By expanding this library, we aim to empower young minds and foster a love for reading that can transform lives. This library will not only serve as a resource for educational materials but also as a space for the greater community to engage in entertainment and study.
