Support Maasai Women Through the Mulika Afrika Goat Project (donate directly here: https://mulika-africa.quicktech.co.tz)
Mulika Afrika (https://mulika-afrika.org) is a registered non-profit based in Tanzania, dedicated to improving the well-being of the Maasai community through programs focused on health, education, economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability. We combine indigenous knowledge with modern practices to foster resilience and sustainable development.
This fundraiser supports our Goat Project, which empowers Maasai women through sustainable livestock ownership. Our goals are:
1. Provide goats to economically disadvantaged women, aligning with cultural practices and promoting self-reliance.
2. Create a cycle of generosity: newborn goats from this project will be given to other women within the community to increase the reach of your donation
3. Ease the burden on women, who often shoulder the greatest responsibilities for their families.
4. Help women build economic independence and open doors to other small business and social opportunities.
Each goat, including vaccinations, costs about $100. Our goal is to provide 20 women with a goat each. Mulika Afrika works in groups of 20 women per cycle, making this an ongoing and impactful effort.
Because GoFundMe does not support campaigns in Tanzania, please donate directly at: https://mulika-africa.quicktech.co.tz
Thank you for supporting this meaningful cause.
