A few days ago, my fiancé and I met someone we can’t stop thinking about. She’s a woman who is currently living in her car. Not by choice, but because life hit her all at once. On top of being homeless, she’s also recovering from a broken leg.

Imagine trying to heal from a serious injury without a stable place to sleep. No bed to rest in. No safe space to elevate your leg. No consistent access to a shower, kitchen, or even basic comfort. Just a car. She didn’t ask for this. She’s doing her best to stay positive and keep going, but healing is hard enough.

All funds will go toward:

• Safe temporary housing

• Food and basic necessities

• Medical expenses and recovery support

• Saving toward more stable, long-term housing
