My name is Lydia, a single mom of a wonderful 13 year old boy. Telling part of my story is one of the hardest thing I have ever had to do but I am at the end of the rope and drowning with all the financial weight. I've done the impossible to keep a float, I have 3 jobs, cash advances, lines of credit but now is so much that I can't keep up no longer. My rent was due on the 1st, after the 3rd is $250 more because of late payments I have almost nothing in my bank accounts. I'm overwhelmed , feel embarrassed and scared for having to do this but I just can't stop thinking about my son, the stability that he deserves, his dream to be a lawyer and I don't even have savings for him. So many worries that run through a single mom's head; it gets very heavy . I just want enough to be able to pay at least 2 months rent and eliminate some of those lines of credits , keep looking for more work and start over again.
