Support Lukas and Aidan's Recovery Efforts

My name is Lukas Haas. I am attending the University of Texas at Austin and working with my friend Aidan Brennan to host a fundraising event to bolster artistic creativity in support of the Pacific Palisades wildfire relief and recovery.

I was born and raised in Pacific Palisades and lost my home and almost my entire community to the January 7th Palisades Fire. Personally being impacted by this disaster, I want to do something to assist my loved community.

As the world has seen, the fires destroyed homes, schools, and many of the precious places in the Palisades: from my preschool, elementary school, and high school to the local recreation center where I played baseball, football, and basketball, plus many other community staples.

24 Days: A Project for the Palisades is the event that will be hosted in Austin on April 22nd. It will include a DJ and a different art pieces up for sale including a Palisades art mural up for sale, with 100% of the profits going to the Pacific Palisades.

The event is to raise money for the recovery of the numerous parts of the Palisades that were destroyed. We are aiming to raise enough funds to support the small businesses, dentists, orthodontists, physicians, and other essential local services that were lost, and are now trying to build back their livelihoods. These are the people and places that give the Palisades its soul—and we want to be there for them now, the way they have always been there for the Palisades people. Every donation helps us maximize support for those in need.

The money donated will be going towards our Pacific Palisades Fire Relief Fund and after the event all donations and profit from the event will be divided personally by us and directly sent to the small businesses, physicians, orthodontists, dentists, etc. in the Palisades that we have reached out.
