As many of you know, I try to keep my head up and handle life’s challenges quietly, and asking for help like this is truly one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.

Recently, I was laid off from my job. Despite putting myself out there every day and fighting to land a new position, the job search has been a long and uphill battle. Because of this unexpected setback, I’ve fallen dangerously behind on my rent and essential bills.

Right now, I am facing the immediate risk of eviction and urgently need to cover at least two months of back rent to keep a roof over my head while I work to get back on my feet.
