My dear friends and family,

You have all been a part of my Nicaragua family’s journey to the U.S. Together, we successfully supported five of my host siblings get established in their new lives, including through the various visa and sponsorship programs made available to them over the years.

Sadly, one of my brothers, Luilly, was detained by ICE despite have a court date scheduled for early November to hear his case and explore new pathways. That opportunity will never come, and we’re now in the unfortunate position of trying to find exactly where he is and what to do next.
