A member of our B2C team is in need of a little help. Many of you may know John Ball and his families struggles with their son Lucky. The struggle is real just getting Lucky to a doctor's appointment. They are in desperate need of a handicap accessible vehicle. We have recently acquired a van but it's in need of engine work and customization to make it wheelchair accessible. If you would like to donate a little to help us achieve our goal, it would be appreciated. Here's a little bit about Lucky:

On August 19, 2015, Lucky was born prematurely at just 24 weeks, weighing 1 pound, 11 ounces, and facing immediate challenges such as Grade 4 bilateral brain bleeds. Rushed to the NICU with less than a 1% chance of survival, he underwent emergency surgeries for collapsed lungs and a heart defect, enduring a tumultuous 98-day stay filled with life-threatening infections. Lucky finally came home on November 25, 2015, a bittersweet day marked by the passing of his grandfather. Now almost 10 years old, Lucky lives with significant medical complexities & rarities, including blindness, Hydrocephalus requiring a VP shunt, and Grade 4 level 5 Spastic Quadriplegia Cerebral Palsy, rendering him nonverbal, nonmobile, wheelchair dependent, and g-tube fed. Additionally, he faces a rare seizure disorder, including Infantile Spasms and other uncontrolled seizures. Daily life involves transporting him in a car seat and wagon, a challenge given his size of over 80 pounds and almost 4.5 feet tall. Lucky desperately needs a wheelchair-accessible vehicle to safely travel to appointments.

Despite the struggles, Lucky's journey embodies resilience, teaching the importance of cherishing every moment and embracing hope and determination.
