Hello everyone, I'm Tj. I am the son-in-law to Louella Edward. She is a 49-year-old grandma to 13 grandchildren and a mother to 6. Within the past three days, we found out that she has cancer, from her pelvis to her brain. She is a kind and caring woman with never-ending love for her family. She has had two biopsies done today, 8/26, and her first radiation treatment for the brain cancer. Dr.s are advising us to start preparing. She does not have life insurance, and with her own health insurance, we're not sure what can or will be covered. We are asking for help with the cost of burial or medical expenses. Update 08/29

To those who have been wondering we received the news that Louella has adenocarcinoma stage 4. This is a very aggressive and spreading very fast. She has completed her first five rounds of radiation for cancer affecting her brain. We have been told that there is little to no hope of recovering from this form of cancer. We are heartbroken and stunned by this news. Lou will be coming home within the coming weeks, on end of life care.
