What is Loud & Queer?
Hey y’all! Loud & Queer Fest is happening June 29, 2025 at Noise Town in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
This is an inclusive event celebrating the music of trans and queer artists across Oklahoma and Texas.
Why Loud & Queer?
In the last few years, there have been a record number of anti-LGBTQ bills introduced at both the state and federal level, especially targeting transgender youth. Loud & Queer is a reminder that:
2SLGBTQ+ people have always existed and are not going anywhere.
Art, creativity, joy, and community are key to resistance.
Queer joy inspires and nourishes the next generation.
Our communities are richer and fuller when we celebrate the full spectrum of voices, talents, and creativity around us.
We are stronger together.
Who is Loud & Queer?
Loud & Queer fest will feature trans and queer fronted bands from across Oklahoma and Texas, covering genres from death metal to noise to emoviolence including Godot, Lagrimas, Inferna, MyWitchMyBlood, Ectospire, Ivory Tusk, Pluto Rouge, tree//nature, and Static Cathedral. We’re also being supported on the logistics and creative side by the incredible, brilliant people behind Noise Town, One Aux, Community Pride, Tulsa Creative Engine, Really Really Free Market, and @supporttransmusicok.
We want Loud & Queer to be for everyone. Here are some of the things we’re doing to make this fest as inclusive as possible:
- Indoor sensory room to take a break from noise/sound/light/heat
- Free earplugs available
- Wheelchair-accessible restrooms
- Mist tent and fans to make it safer and more comfortable to be in the Oklahoma heat
See something missing that would keep you from attending? Let us know! We’re a small but nimble group and will do everything we can to help make this something the whole community can participate in.
How you can support Loud & Queer
Loud & Queer will be made possible by viewers like you. We’re raising money through our community and sponsors to help make sure we can pay the bands and venue upfront, with the majority of our ticket sales going towards mutual aid efforts and organizations in Tulsa and to help fund additional events fronted by queer and trans artists.
Budget breakdown:
Most of these costs are quoted from the vendor or to the artist.

Restroom rental: $405.00
Mist tents: $295.00
