My name is Pauline, and I'm reaching out for help, despite finding it difficult to share, as we truly need support this time. Our journey began when my mom experienced pain in her right upper abdomen, leading to a cholecystectomy in June 26, 2023, and subsequent CT scans revealed she has Cholangiocarcinoma that required chemotherapy that started from January 12, 2024-September 21, 2024. My mom showed remarkable bravery, completing her chemo with flying colors. She was cleared for surgery and had Open Right Partial Hepatectomy surgery on November 6, 2024. She had a rough recovery after surgery but with her strong will and faith she was able to get through it. We thought everything was fine after her recovery until her MRI and liver biopsy on May 06, 2025 delivered the devastating news that she has a recurrent Cholangiocarcinoma that is not curable with only months to live. She is now undergoing immunotherapy as her body is not strong enough to undergo chemotherapy. My mom, a hardworking cleaner, has been unable to work since 2023. My dad during this hard time has also lost his job and has been with my mom every step of the way. My mom was hospitalized due to her cancer on Saturday, August 30, 2025. I'm appealing to kind-hearted individuals to help me fulfill my mom's heartfelt wish to return to the Philippines and bid farewell to her siblings and loved ones.
