Support Lori Meier’s Battle Against Cancer

Hello!! My name is Lainey Breeden, granddaughter of Lori Meier. As most people know already, my grandma was recently diagnosed (over Christmas) with stage 4 melanoma cancer. A few years ago she had a melanoma removed from her leg, and since then has gone back every six months in order to get skin checks. She had no other outstanding conditions, side effects, etc. until her spleen exploded mid December. Melanoma cancer is one that can spread quicker than you can snap your fingers, and when it hits, it hits hard. In fact, it can be life threatening in as little as 6 weeks. Hearing the statistic doesn’t seem like much, and I thought nothing of it… that was until I saw it first hand. Almost every bad medication or treatment side effects my grandma has endured, it has completely flipped her world upside down. The cancer has spread from her brain to her feet and quite literally everywhere in between. She is a strong woman who is putting up a hell of a battle, I look up to her more than she knows and she has taught me many great things that I will hold onto forever. BUT with all her abrupt symptoms and life changes, comes a hefty expense. One that can’t be handled by just one person, especially one that doesn’t have anything coming into the bank anymore. I can say with confidence my grandma has one of the best support systems between her brother, sister, son, and especially her daughter in which I’m lucky enough to call my mom. But we can’t do it on our own! For those that financially can’t help, PRAYERS ARE POWERFUL!! The power of a prayer could never muster up to a dollar and we appreciate every prayer you all have prayed and continue praying. Money CAN’T buy happiness, but it CAN help out for us to have my beloved grandma in the best care, and feeling the best that she can. We appreciate you all, lots of love from our family to yours ❤️
